CALMUS Web is a platform free application. It is possible to access the CALMUS brain anywhere in the world through the Internet and it works on your smart phone, PC, Mac etc. and is available for everybody.

CALMUS Gaming is an innovative tool for creating and controlling
music within computer games. Instead of the soundscape being a perpetually repeated part of the game’s environment, it changes constantly as the game progresses and according to the player’s performance and actions.

Here is a short documentary of Calmus Waves in the beginning of the process. The team of Calmus collaborated with dance students of The Icelandic Academy of the Arts in a trial run of the equipment for Calmus Waves. – In other words to test special sensors where the movement controls and creates the music.

The making of the performance of Calmus Waves that was premiered at Reykjavík City Theater at Reykjavík Art Festival 2016.

In 2014 team of Calmus Waves did a workshop with wonderful dance students from The Iceland Academy of the Arts and this was the end results.

In 2015 – 2016 the Calmus team continued to develop the project further and started collaborating with Kasper Ravnhoj, choreographer and dancer. In spring 2016 the performance Calmus Waves was premiered in Reykjavík City Theater at Reykjavík Art Festival & in this video you can see the beginning of the process during first rehearsals in Copenhagen.

CALMUS AUTOMATA : Adagio from a piano concerto – a realtime composition and performance. Recorded on the 27th of September at the “Researchers’ Night 2013 in Reykjavik”.
