The Seven Variations were composed in the year of 2001. The material of the pieces came from some of my compositions from 1982 – 2001. Short segments were taken from the pieces and modified in various ways before they were put together again in each composition.
The compositions that provide the building material are diverse and were constructed in various ways, e.g. via the composition program CALMUS or with various electronic and computers.
Among pieces are works for orchestra, concerts, a string quartet, elector-acoustic works, songs, piano pieces, music for clarinets and solo works for flute, guitar and electronic instruments.
